This week was a good week. Rosie’s personality is one where she can tend to shut down when she feels she is not performing the task asked of her. For example, if she auto-sits when we stop walking, after a few times of resetting her, she shuts down and thinks she is in trouble. The reset involves placing our hand under her tummy and gently lifting. She also tends to shut down if she pulls ahead and we reset her by luring her into a heel. That is not an invasive reset but she can tell she is not doing what is asked of her and it is as if she takes it personal. I believe the more she understands what is required of her and is successful, this behavior will go away. I believe it also is tied to her lack of confidence which as that grows will fix those issues. Overall she is doing really great!
