Enlo loves attention! We are addressing the issue that if another dog is getting any type of praise, Enlo will insert himself between the person and the other dog. When Enlo first arrived, he did resource guard his handler at another dog, but that was the first and only time. We continued to work at curbing this behavior and he does not react in an aggressive manner, but still will try to put himself between the person and other dog when they are getting attention. Enlo is doing excellent at all his commands. 95% of the time he performs the command the first time he is instructed to. Now we are taking him and generalizing him to new and different areas to see how well he will perform and to address any issues we notice. So far, he is doing well. Enlo needs to be worked with new and different handlers. 'Sit' from a distance need to still be increased. Enlo has his 'six' command down. He had a hard time with the verbal 'six' command and would get confused. We believe this is because 'six' sounds like 'sit', but he seems to get it now.
