Emery is doing much better accepting pets from strangers. She does very well in a down position and doesn't shy away. Her engagement is directed towards the handler while other people are petting and inspecting her.
She is used to distractions such as loud noises, lots of people, and new areas. She can "six" and "center" with other people in new areas.
She seems to forget what to do when there are high value treats, and gets distracted by her food drive. We have had better success with no treats during institutional walks and everything else. The only time we use treats is in the training circle or shaping new behavior. She loves pets and praise and is eager to please without treats.
No bathroom accidents due to lots of potty breaks about every hour and a half.
