Charlie made strong progress this week, particularly with the new Recall command, showing improved reliability even in distracting environments. We steadily increased the challenge on core commands (Sit, Down, Stay, Place) by extending durations and adding distractions, which Charlie responded to well.

This week, Charlie also began working with a new secondary trainer, which has positively contributed to his generalization by exposing him to different cues and handling styles, helping him adapt and respond consistently across varied interactions.

The Touch command continues to be a valuable engagement tool, enhancing trust and focus between Charlie and his trainers. Socialization efforts in calm settings helped build his confidence around new people and environments.

While distractions during loose lead walking remain challenging, Charlie’s calmness and responsiveness are improving consistently with patient, consistent training. His gentle, eager-to-please nature and growing trust in the team are evident.

Overall, Charlie’s obedience skills and emotional resilience are developing well, strengthening the foundation for his ongoing training.
