This week, Charlie continued to build on the foundations laid in previous weeks by introducing and reinforcing the Recall command, helping him respond reliably to come when called even with distractions. We maintained focus on essential obedience skills such as Sit, Down, Stay, and Place, gradually increasing the challenge with distractions and longer durations to enhance his reliability.
The Touch command remained an important engagement tool, supporting trust and focus between Charlie and his trainers. Socialization efforts continued successfully in calm settings, helping Charlie grow more comfortable and confident around new people and environments.
Challenges with distractions during loose lead walking were met with patience and consistency, showing steady improvement in Charlie’s calmness and responsiveness. His personality remains gentle and eager to please, with clear signs of increasing trust in the training team.
Overall, Charlie is showing promising progress in both obedience and emotional resilience, solidifying the trust and communication necessary for his ongoing development.
